Drafting: Lovable Little Magnets

So we have an idea: to create big panels of color-saturated compass walls, and today we drafted a proof of concept. Here's kind of what it looked like:
In actuality, the needles are going to be made of reflective galvanized steel with surfaces wide enough to reflect light. The compass parts will be laser-cut from sheets... which we're hoping won't heat the inside of the metal to its Curie temperature (this is when you heat a magnetic substance so much that Marie Curie comes back as a ghost to steal it's permanent magnetic properties, and I'm scared of ghosts). There are also going to be about a thousand of them... hopefully. Our next steps are to laser the compass needles, re-magnetize them and secure them to a polyacrilic backing.
